Known as frangifani in english. It is also known as “Frangipiani”, temple flower or graveyard flower.

It is a small tree, leaves commonly oblong in shape, stem is smooth and shining with abundant white latex. Flowers is fragrant, the upper portion is whitish while the lower portion is yellow. Flowers suppose to be source of perfume.

It’s also known as “Frangipiani” or “Temple Folkloric uses: Latex or juice is good for skin diseases, like herpes or athletes foot and other skin diseases. Put on affected area 3X a day; Decoction of bark is used as purgative, emmenagogue, and pebrifuge; Decoction of bark is also good for dysentery, diarrhea, also for gums and toothache; The latex mixed with coconut oil is used for itching; A poultice of leaves is beneficial for swellings.
