“Twelve (12) Red Cross ambulances were also deployed composed of 15 teams of PNRC medics and first responders,” said Delfin.
Among those 15 teams, 5 teams were initially stationed in Manila Memorial Park, 4 joined the convoy and 6 teams were stationed in 6 different points along the route taken by the funeral convoy.
Meanwhile, PNRC Secretary General Gwendolyn Pang said that PNRC staff and volunteers were delighted that they were there to help make the funeral of the late President Cory Aquino peaceful and safe.
“PNRC staff and volunteers were happy to help during the funeral procession. It is one way of showing our gratitude to the Aquino family for their continuous support to the PNRC,” said Pang.
